Dr. Peterson

Your double-dose of medicine

Seems to have done the trick.

The leg, it is a-healin’

and of this I cannot kick.

‘Tho I have a little grumble

It’s really nuthin’ major.

But, I was kinda hopin’ for

Ankles cute as a teenager.

It has been hinted bluntly

Our diagnosis was off-key.

I must have had Bovine disease

‘Foot-in-mouth’ is more like me!

Sigh, the body, it is agin’

And the mind, what’s left of it, regrets

Ended days of trippin’ lightly

Through life’s field of -? I forgets.
